Techo-Bloc – New Manufacturing Facility

Contractor:

Gateman-Milloy

Location:

Ayr, Ontario

Techo-Bloc’s new facility in Ayr, Ontario, establishes a bold architectural presence in the Southwestern Ontario landscape. Situated on a former quarry site, the more than 90,000 sq. ft. development features a striking two-storey office that serves as the Ontario headquarters. The architectural design blends form and function through the use of insulated metal panels, reflective glazing, and fiber-cement cladding, creating a visually dynamic and contemporary façade that reflects the company’s innovative spirit.

Designed to support both administrative and training functions, the building includes dedicated spaces for sales teams and landscape professionals. The material palette was selected for both durability and visual impact, while the overall massing and orientation take advantage of the site’s unique topography. The result is a refined industrial facility that seamlessly integrates production and corporate functions, setting a new standard for Techo-Bloc’s architectural identity in Ontario.
